The JOHM Fund

Other funds Raised to-date: $3,705.00

Target for 2012: $10,000.00

The JOHM fund is The GDP’s capital campaign to support The SEVINK Vision Institute:

1. Conduct research in the area of eye disease and eye health.
2. Conduct education on diseases of the eye and eye health maintenance.
3. Perform low to no-cost eye surgeries for patients who either cannot afford such life-saving surgery, or are too far away from eye-care services.
4. Provide post-operative care for both the Institute‘s patients and the patients of other similar organizations.
5. Train students in ophthalmic technology and anesthesiology.
6. Provide scholarships and fellowships for desiring ophthalmic science students.
7. Make available, corrective lenses through the SIGHTSEED program of the Institute.
8. Construct and equip the Institute.

The desire and promise of scholarship recipients to serve at the SEVINK Vision Institute in any of our ROP nations during and at the conclusion of their training and study will be a critical consideration in awarding scholarship and training funds.

We encourage our friends, partners, and sponsors to support The JOHM fund. Please send your support to:
